Subject: Re: [Ferret-Health-list] squinting

Hello !! Please, take them to the vet, it may be ECE, I just had 2
fuzzies pass on last week with this disease and from what you are
saying it sounds like it could be ECE. The stool will look almost
bright green in color, and the loose stool is a definate sign even
if it isn't ECE. They may get dehydrated. Feed them duck soup, get
some electrolytes into their water and watch them carefully. Best
wishes, Michele

Okey, now I know ya'll are gonna think I got the most fallin apart
fert on the list, but I swear we dont abuse him or anything!
*laughs* he just keeps having weird stuff happen to him. I let
the two out to play tonight and then when I was putting them back
in their cage for sleepy time, I noticed Faoli was squinting at me
with one eye, it'd be open for a few seconds and then itd shut
again, and it was watering, kinda like it got scratched or
something, but when i took a closer look I could find no scratch
marks or anything around his eye, It LOOKS like the other one
does on the outside, except its all red on the part where it
should be white, like its aggitated. Should I take him to the vet
or just wash his eyes out with water, or what? Poor thing, he's
had a rough couple of weeks!
Plus I wanted to ask, after he reacted to the booster, he you know
puked and had the squirts, and now he seems ALOT thinner than he
was, and whenever he goes to the potty its really soft and kinda
slimey like and it makes a pooping noise when it comes out like
its watery or something. I was thinking about giving him some
gerber chicken to fatten him back up, but he's eating his regular
mazuri just fine, so I dont want to confuse him. Please help
again, thanks so much guys...
