Hi Kalee, Im one of those bad UK ferret owners that keep the
ferrets in an outdoor court; as long as they have a warm
wooded or cardboard box with dry bedding to sleep in ferrets
can live at quite low temperatures. In the UK there are feral
ferrets and wild polecats that live happily in the mountains
of Wales and Scotland over winter. Heat kills far more ferrets
than the cold so you dont have to set that thermostat very
high.
