Subject: Brutus/diabetes/insulin resistance
Update: Brutus looks/acts like he feels better. He is getting 4-7 U of NPH
Pork Ilentin insulin twice a day depending on what his glucose is. He seems
to feel best if the glucose is in the 250-310 range, but if it drops lower he
looses energy and acts almost like a low glucose episode. Also, his tummy
hair is finally growing back from his insulinoma surgery in May (He had 4
lupron shots in the last 6 weeks, 100 mg each).
how are the rest of you with diabetic ferrets doing?
