Would appreciate a more precise description. Do you have access to
the actual words the vet wrote-up (rather than a non-vet's
interpretation)?
If life-threatening or fatal, has allergic dermal necrosis been
considered? Any signs of extreme allergic reaction to anything?
That type of reaction is vanishingly rare in humans and I haven't
heard of it happening with other critters than humans, but who knows?
I'm not a vet.
Recently I was made aware of a ferret that, after adrenal surgery, shed the
lining of his intestines. What would cause this? Is this a possibility at
all? Would it be stress related?
