Subject: [Ferret-Health-list] Re: Shedding intestinal lining

Thank you Sukie;

The ferret had adrenal surgery on a Saturday. (13th). Seemed to pull through
fairly well. Large left adrenal removed. On Monday evening the ferret had
turned a bright red all over his body. Vet was called and Benadryl was
prescribed. During this time the ferret passed, what looked to me, to be his
intestinal lining. You could see the indentions of the intestine. (Yes, I
saw it) No feces, no blood. Ferret was crying when taken to emergency and
they helped him to the Bridge. There was no paperwork from the emergency.
They don't know much about ferrets. Just that the euthanasia was done.

What you said makes sense. What with the ferret turning bright red.

Thank you,
Mary
