Subject: Funky stools persistent
Hi,
Question, hoping someone can help me out on this one, I'm at a total
loss here. Bandit's stools are always resemble chocolate pudding
and vary in size. Sometimes I can see seeds in there (I know this
is undigested fat)- When I had a stool sample taken recently the vet
tech said that he had no bacteria in his stool what so ever...which
she said was not good. She and the vet suggested acidolphilus found
in yogart to help introduce some good bacteria. Bandit does not
like yogart so that's not gonna help.. Any ideas, My boy is so fat
in the belly and it feels hard but his recent ultra-sound showed
only a slightly enlarged spleen, which the vet says is common. Is
there another way of making sure his spleen isn't to large??
Lastly Bandit will only eat Science Diet Maintenance Formula for
Cats and there is not enough protein or fat in it so I supplement
his feedings with babyfood and science diet a/d and nupro and
ferretone 3x a day. Is he getting enough protein??
Thanks so much,
Christina
Oh one last thing my little baby fiefal has such strong smelling
urine, never experienced this with Bandit. It also seems to be very
concentrated, any ideas???
