You know, A/D is so high in fats and fluids that sometimes it
causes loose stools on its own. Have encountered that here.

I have a lack of time and tried to find Tom Willard's post on the
ways that ferret digestion differs from that of larger animals with
longer transit times; could not find it in the time available, but it's
worth digging up.
