Subject: Re: Respiratory Infections

From the drug guide in _Essentials of Ferrets, a Guide for
Practitioners_ by Karen Purcell, DVM, 1999 (AAHA Press,
1-800-252-2242, 12575 W. Bayaud Ave., Lakewood, CO 80228)

Under amoxicillin it says (all typos mine)
25 mg/ml+
clavulanate potassium 6.25 mg/ml cubed
12.5mg/kg q 12h PO

Cephalexin is also mentioned as a broad spectrum agent that is
useful for respiratory infections: 15-25 mg/kg q 12h PO
