I have been told that ultrasound is not a good tool for
adrenal or insulinoma detection and your vet is absolutely
correct.

Newton had an ultrasound and there was no evidence from it
that there was insulinoma. My regular vet though said that
the tumors may be inside the pancreas and not visible on US.
It this possible?
