Subject: Drug/herb interactions?

Hello all,

Sorry to be writing again, but wondered if anyone could tell
me whether it is reasonably safe to give the following
combination of medications:

Lactulose; PediaPred; Pet Tinic; Tobugesic; cimetidine
(Tagament); and Milk Thistle

Bhut is currently getting 1.5mg of Pred twice daily; 0.25 cc
Lactulose twice daily; about 1 cc Pet Tinic once daily; and
Torbugesic 0.05 mg as needed for pain/spasms (1cc of
injectable mixed with 19 cc's of Pet Tinic.....equals 0.5
mg/ml).

I would like to try adding the cimetidine for nausea and the
Milk Thistle to try to improve liver function. I've had
little luck researching on my own and the pharmacist could
tell me very little about adding Milk Thistle into the mix.

His symptoms are: no appetite; knuckling of back feet when
trying to walk; muscle spasms/mild seizures; and head
pressing. Definitely not encouraging, but I'm just not ready
to give up yet. I'm not looking for a cure, as I realize
there probably isn't one, but just want to try to make him
feel better and alleviate his symptoms for awhile if possible.

Thanks in advance,
Stacia
