Thanks, Dr. Williams,

I've been wondering what it was that made the differences in the way
that Pepcid worked versus the other "indigestion" drugs. I'd observed
that it worked well (& quickly) for non-chronic, short term use, but
not for ferrets with a history of stomach problems. Your explanation
turned on a light in a previously dim room.
