" He is growing new hair all over,
and their is no balding at the base of the tail, so I don't think he
has adrenal problems. "

Please be careful when assuming that since the hairloss is not at the base
of the tail he does not have adrenal. I know that in many books it states
specifically that with adrenal disease the balding will start at the base of
the tail and move from there. However, when I took my kids in for hairloss
at the TIP of the tail, the vet said that it is most liekly adrenal. It
does not matter WHERE the hairloss starts or goes to. It can be on the
chest, head, tops of feet, shoulders, along the back. Basically anywhere.
When in doubt, you can run the Tenn. panel to make sure. Or, see what your
vet reccomends. Hope this helps some! Good luck:-)
