Don't know. I could be wrong, or there may be both. The ref. I used
is a reputable one, Fox's _Biology and Diseases of the Ferret_ and it
was discussing thiamine deficiency therefore specifically mentioned
thiaminase in relation to a thiamine deficiency.

Now that you mention it, I also recall someone speaking about biotin
deficiency in relation to raw eggs (Was it Bob C.?), so there may be
two vitamins in the Vitamin B Complex that can be depleted by raw
eggs.

Anyone have details?

It's not easy to find out levels of some of these compounds in
certain foods, so sometimes caution just plain makes sense. The
manufacturers of foods have references many of us don't have (though
some of us would like to know about them and have those texts when
they fit into the budget).
