Subject: looking for vet

Hi,
I'm new on the list, though I have had ferrets for about 15 years now.
I have recently moved to southeastern Idaho, and adopted to "rescue
girls". Teasel, my little girl is beginning to show signs of adrenal
abnormalities. she is getting skinnier, with that jelly-belly. she is
sleeping more, and just went through an illness that had her
uncoordinated in the rear legs. I am trying to find a vet somewhere
around this region (Jackson Hole to Portland - Seattle to Salt Lake
City) who is knowledgeable about ferrets. I need her seen where she can
get required tests taken care of. I have not found one here in
Pocatello. It's mostly a 'give 'em pred and amoxi and see if it gets
better' place. Of course, the closer to here the better, but I am
planning on having to travel. Does anyone know of any vets who work a
lot with ferrets in this region?
Also, besides ferret-vites, what's a good way to put weight on my
little girl?
thanks
