Subject: Prolapsed Rectum
I have a 6 month old male ferret that has developed a
prolapsed rectum. He recently went to a ferret show with a
friend, and I have my suspicions as to how the rectum became
prolapsed. At any rate, that isn't important now as the damage
has been done. Can anyone suggest what to do with this
problem? I would like to avoid surgery if at all possible. He
has been put on antibotics and it was suggested to use
preparation H on him bum.
