Subject: Re: [Ferret-Health-list] Prednisone and Prednisolone --
same thing? & General insulinoma question

HI Karen:

I have a ferret that has insuloma. Brandy was diagnosed over a year ago. We don't know how old she is as she was abused and I took her in. We
noticed her walking like she were drunk and a quick blood test confirmed the insuloma. The vet also didn't recommend surgery but we have Brandy on
prendisone 3ccs two times a day. I also give her Gerber stage two turkey baby food with this as sometimes the prendisone tends to upset the
stomach. She is doing very well, but you have to faithfully remember her meds.

Good luck
Ivy
