Subject: URGENT HELP NEEDED
Tonight I bathed all four ferrets (the two new rescues needed
them so I decided to do all) After I bathed Soot a new rescue
we put him back in his cage and he pounced around to dry off.
5 minutes later I pulled him back out to clean his ears and
when I was done doing that I put him on the ground (after
ferretone treat) and he was dragging his back leg. I felt
around the spine and his leg trying to see a difference in the
way the two legs felt, and he peed and then he pooed pure
black poo that looked like crushed blackberries, soft but firm
(and right on me:P) ummm I put sugary sweet part of a
chocolate cover cherry ( NOT the chocolat part just the sweet
white middle, I needed sugar and didnt have honey) it didnt
seem to make a difference. When I put him down he was still
dragging himself around though trying to play. as we were
holding him trying to figure out what to do (called several
people) he was just constantly peeing on himself. His middle
seems kinda hard all of a sudden and so I was giving him
laxatone and he peed then too... PLEASE help there arent ANY
knowledgeable emergency vets around here, and even my normal
vet is not so ferret smart (but shes the most knowledgeable in
town)
