I would put him back on the 8-1 just because it will have a marked
difference over a week or so's time. If you can get it Mazuri has been
tested by the Spokane Shelter to produce less poo with (at least in her
noses opinion) the least amount of smell. But Marshalls is the worst for
smell, cause if you read the ingrediants fish is right up at the top, and
you DONT want that! (I just rescued 2 boys who were on marshalls and I put
them on Mazuri and it dramatically improved they poo smell :)

Thank you for your concern. The 3 vets that I took the ferret that
just passed to I did mention ECE each time and they rejected it. Even
though I had read up on it many times especially the vomiting then
green poops.
The baby is on Marshal ferret food. I switched him to 8&1 because that
was what my orgianl ferret was on but it didn't seem to make the poop
smell any better so now (to comply with the warrenty) he's back on
marshals.
