I can't answer most of the questions, but
for the small doses of Biaxin, I know the drug
reps drop those off a lot at work, and
seeing that you guys prescribe their meds
too, maybe a drug rep could give you a bunch of
those samples? I would think it would be a rare
case that you need them, and the sample goes
a long way in a small ferret, maybe you could
see if you could get a few samples and use them
sparingly- that way free for the patient and
good customer service for the rep, and so on.

Just a suggestion, or do you know any pediatrician
well in your area, maybe get a few samples for your
practice?

I did see that article by Dr. Burgess- in the FHL archives,
with a theory about IBD and slowing the normal
emptying of the stomach, and therefore seeing more gastric
foreign bodies in ferrets with IBD- not sure if it has any
credence,
or how it fits to your case, but a thought.

?

does any one have a good source for small doses of biaxin
- i can't get the boss to
splurge for $200 of drug.

thanks for your patience and patients.
