Well, what is in them? Some dried fruits and some veggies and
dried veggies have a history of causing blockages if they pieces
are too large, too dry, too hard to digest, etc. For example, we
know of people whose ferrets have blocked with dried bananas,
but also know some who dry bananas at home, don't get them
as dry, and don't cut them as large who have not had problems.
Have also heard of ferrets blockiing with nuts, carrots, broccoli
stems, dense fruits or veggies, or fruits or veggies that are too
fiberous.

We really love 8 in 1's Ultimate food and their customer service
dept. has some great folks, but Steve and i won't give our guys
some of their other products. Takethe "Fruit and Nut Crunch";
there just are too many things in there that have the potential
tocause problems for ferret GI tracts: crunchy corn and several
dense dried fruits. Plus, it is loaded down with sugars. They
just aren't adapted for those levels of sweets. There is a
hypothesis that too many sweet that be hard on the pancreas.
That's known for those with insulinoma, but the hypothesis is
that it may also be case for healthy ferrets.

I do not know if there have been actual blockages from the treat
you mention, but perhaps the ingredient list will answer your
question.
