Subject: Getting rid of the mites for good

You are sure the mites are elsewhere on the ferret?
Most ferrets get ear mites and some are "immune"
to the effects while others are quite overrun by them,
for all the times I have brought in new ferrets, and had
ear mites all I did was the drops in the ears, repeat in
2 weeks and made sure all bedding, blankets, etc were
washed in hot water.

Maybe someone who rescues and sees a lot of ear mite
problems can comment on how often it is necessary to
actually treat systemically.
