Subject: Soot's diagnosis

Well
My rescue of a week, who's about 5 months old was diagnosed yesterday with
Lymphoma. He had gotten a steroid shot and within 4 hours that had
dramatically improved the use of his back legs! :) He's almost a normal
walking fert now, the poor baby! The vet said he was losing peripheral
senses or something like that, because when he pinched the pad of the leg
that was dragging (right back) he jerked it, but he seemed to not know that
the leg was dragging along and at a funky angle all the time. Wonderful
Tracy from Spokane Shelter is sending me a Lymphoma packet so I have a
better idea of what to treat him with and such, but I wanted to know if I
should go have him get another shot of the steriod for bringing down the
inflammation some more, maybe he will fully regain his back legs?? What do
you guys think? And if anyone has some lymphoma information for kits that
would like to share, or know of websites (other than ferretcentral, I read
all I could find there, which isnt much) I'd appreciate it.

*crossing her fingers and hoping for Soot*
