Subject: Re: 8in1 pet products

Good point about the source. We do it the same way for the
same reason. I think they are more careful about how they
handle the bags, too, and when we did get some bad food
through then both they and 8 in 1 were very responsive and very
interested in tracking down how it occurred. We like the
Ultimate, too, and the ferrets love it. Steve and I mix it with several
other foods.

Our diet exception is Scooter who has to avoid the standard
foods and gets Hills Feline z/d instead. Boy, is that stuff ever
gentle on stomachs and good at providing nutrition to a
compromised individual. It's been a benefit to Warp, too, so we
let her raid it during the play hours except when supplies get low.
Scoot's situation reads pretty well exactly like the description
Mark Burgess gave for in his IBD post, BTW, so that can give a
feeling why Tooty needs special foods if anyone gets curious.
