Subject: Skittles is going in for surgery ...

My baby has improved and seems to be doing better after the ECE took
it's toll. It lasted about 2 and half month's! Baci and Nibbler only
had it for about one week at most and they never even got as bad as
Skittles, they only had the green stinkies and, unlike Skittles
consistency tossing his cookies, major green runs, and consistent
force feeding chicken soup just to keep him hydrated! Even then he
was so bad we did blood work and ultra sounds to see if there was an
alternative sickness existing. Before he got ECE, we had a slight
suspition of Adrenal but the only symptoms apparent at the time was a
lil hair loss at the tip of his tail, and losing weight which summer
heat and activity could have been the factor but now looking back to
how hard it hit Skittles(ECE) and the fact he's balding under his
belly under his back legs, excessively iching, aggressive mounting on
Baci, and absolutely no hair growth where he was shaved for his ultra
sound and his blood work. It made it clear why the ECE hit em hard.
Now he's happy with boundful amounts of energy so we took him in too
make sure he is up for surgery next week and it's all clear:)During
his ECE the blood work was all out of wack too, (Bob Church gave us
further insight on this easing our mind of possible liver failure,
thank you again for you insight it was appreciated) but due to him
throwing up and unable to keep much down he could not absorb
nutrients so the blood work showed low counts...but we got the re
test before surgery and TA DAA he's normal...well as normal as our
wacky worms get I guess! So I am so happy he cleared the ECE threat
and has a chance to over come Adrenal with flying colours! He's my
lil fighter and proves that to me every day. We taught one another to
not give in even when sometimes it seems bleek...u try and do
everything within your power.Even sometimes they give u the look that
they are too tired to continue but you give them that extra reason to
continue, your hope, patience, and most of all LOVE! We also had
support of friends that gave us comfort, assitance, and were there to
give their helping hand. I will never forget this experience and will
always relize that miracles happen and I believe someone is watching
over my lil Skittles and I know he will over come many more obstacles
cause it's just Skittles my trooper! Well I better quite babbling it
is just when it is about my passions I cannot stop!

Well I will let u know How he pulls through surgery:)Say your prays
for us:)Thanks for listening/reading...VEX
