Our vet did a surgery for a blockage caused by a piece of dried pinapple in
their 8-in-1 Pro UltraBlend Fruit Crunch treats. To 8-in-1's credit, those
pieces no longer seem to be in the new cans of either Fruit Crunch or Peanut
Butter Crunch treats, so the company did adjust their products do to customer
concerns. If you have a concern about any of their products, I would write
them.
I wouldn't worry about 8-in-1 Ultimate. Their kibbled foods do not include any
fruit bits whatsoever. I also wouldn't worry about the occasional raisin or
small dried cranberry bits that are still in the treats. They are no more
harmful than any other raisins you might give as a treat. Fortunately, all but
one of my guys would rather have the crunchy (mainly chicken) bits in there,
which are far better. Peanut Butter Crunch is one of the favorite treats for
our business, and is right up there with L&M Turkey Bacon Cheese treats.
