Subject: Boarding My Baby
Usually when I go away I have someone Ferret Sit
Felix. But due to the holidays, no such luck. And
taking him with me this time is not an option. So, I
searched for a vet that is educated in Ferret care and
was recommended (by the local ferret shelter) to one
vet who I am told is a ferret owner herself. But I am
still nervous about leaving Felix for two weeks at the
vet. Are there certain things I should MAKE SURE of
before I leave him with the vet? I have concern about
him getting sick or kennel cough or not being held or
whatnot. Have any of you done this? Please help out a
nervous mommy. It's my first time leaving him at a
vet for an extended stay in his 3 1/2 years on this
planet. Help :)
