Although I would not restrict say raw or cooked meals. I have a tendency
to not want to leave kibble laying around. I am gradually switching my guys
over to raw food (not that I want to be pounded here for my beliefs on that
subject) but, with one ferret who died from insulioma (also my adrenal
ferret) I really really want them off kibble. And with raw or cooked (I
prefer raw) they don't eat quite as often because protein is more statifying
and stays with them longer than carbs. I am also intrested along with
photoperiods , the water issue as far as adrenals go. In talking with some
friends of mine I have seen some corralation with the two also.
Where as hard water areas (those with higher calsium and magnesium levels) as
having more occurances of adrenal problems but, that too is another theory Im
working with. I know I have my work cut out for me but to my five guys,
whoops and girl its more worth it than ever now.
