When Punky Doodle itched terribly from adrenal disease I used
something called C-Derm. It contains no alcohol, "-caines" or
coritcosteriods. It's made from various plant extracts and seemed to
work pretty well. I also used something called "Relief". That comes
in a spray or a shampoo, but I couldn't see using the shampoo
version. Wouldn't make sense to bathe him every day.
Both of these products were from my vet and worked well but
relatively short term. I'm not much of a herbal type of guy, but the
C-Derm seemed to work the best.
