Subject: Feather Information

Hello,

One of my parakeets happen to somehow get into the ferrets room over
the plexiglass while I was at school. When I got home there were a
small amount of feathers. I did find one wing. I am concerned
about the injestion of feathers in my ferrets. I have 12 and who
ate what. I could not tell you and naturally they aren't telling.
I know in the wild this probably would not be a problem. I do
remember reading something about the BARF diet. I would like for
them to keep the nutritional value they could have received. But, I
do not want to risk an obstruction.
Will nature take it's place or should I give a lax for backup?

Thank you
