Subject: lymph nodes & more

Hi Guys,

I noticed just recently alot of fat under Bandit's arms- I remember
reading a post that said this could be a sign of enlarged lymph
nodes??

Bandit had a CBC about a month ago and the lymphocites?? were within
normal range. I'm concerned because he's never had this before and
it seem to come out of no where. What tests can I have done to rule
out lymphoma?? Bandit's always had GI problems after ECE and his
stools right now are pudding like and soft and dark.

I also wondered if anyone out there sprinkles yeast in their ferret
soup?? I heard the chromium in the yeast helps stabilize blood
sugar (true or not true)? Is Brewer's yeast the same as regular
yeast, I just ordered some but I don't think it's Brewer's yeast.

Lastly, I lowered Bandit's pred dosage and noticed he does not do
the digging and scratching thing before and after eating now. I
believe the pred was causing Bandit to have ulcers- I give him
carafate too, which seems to be helping.

My second boy, Fiefal who's just under a year has been having a
itching fit. Jumps up out of his sleep to itch...His skin and coat
look good, no signs of irritation, could this be normal ferret
behavior??

I have to take Fiefal in for a check up- the first one, what should
the vet do??

Thanks.

I know it's a mouthfull but I could really use your advice.
