Subject: Re: [Ferret-Health-list] Long Flight

You didn't mention which airline you were using to return home. Instead
of a pet shipping service, I think I would be more inclined to make the
arrangements myself. Almost all major airlines allow pets to be shipped
in cargo. You could check the airline you are using to fly home on and
see about using them to ship your ferret, on the same flight you are
using. That way, you won't be separated long from your companion. As
for the actual shipping...look back in previous posts here about
airlines and shipping and I give a decent description of what is needed
and how to set up a shipping environment for your companion.

Also, if you could use Delta Airlines, (I believe they have
international flights to and from Germany) you could even keep your
ferret in cabin with you, for a small additional fee.

In any case, much success on your journey home!

For our ferrets.
