Subject: Re: Somethings wrong

You do realize that I am not a vet? There is little I can tell you
except that full blockages need rapid correction, but some partial
ones do pass. Some blockages can cause injuries. Some can
cause inflammation of surrounding or nearby tissues and
organs such as the stomach, liver, nodes... Some can lead the
way for ulcerations to develop.

It's one of those situations that just isn't an easy call.

One thing about going in for a possible blockage as Bruce
Williams recently pointed out is that if it's not a blockage then
biopsies can be done, or perhaps anopther cause maybe found
in the exploratory.

If you are afraid that you vet is not up to surgery on a ferret you wil
want to go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Ferret-Health-list
and in the Files section look at vets in BOTH the recommended
vets file and the SOS shelter list file.
