There was statistical evidence that some organism was involved in
cervical cancer way back in the 50's, but it took 40 years to determine
that it was the human papillovirus. Dr. Fox has noticed what he calls
"clusters" of insulinoma and adrenaloma cases, but it's going to take
some serious work to determine if a virus causes those and which one.
