Could this be a typo? The 0.75 ml (cc's) is 23 drops of fluid - less
than 1cc. I would think that 20-50 cc's would be necessary to prevent
dehydration. 75 cc's would strike me as a lot at one time.

Please be sure to tell your vet yhat you are considering using these
products. Timmy's Tonic contains dozens of ingredients that may (or
may not) interact with the medicines your vet has prescribed or may
aggravate other problems.

Magellan didn't do this with megaesophagus. The main symptom was the
regurgitation associated with eating.

The diet with IBD is tricky. Dr. Burgess suggests that you need to
remove offending culprits from the diet. The z/d is a great diet
because of the way it is formulated. I would think that the remainder
of the diet might be working against the z/d. A/D for certain
contains chicken thus it could be making the problem worse. I don't
know about the Duck/Green Pea and pumpkin.
Have you tried soaking a small amount of z/d in equal amounts of
water, letting it soften overnight in the fridge, and then pureeing
the mixture? Don't keep more than 24 hours. That way you could
supplement the diet with something that won't make the situation
worse and get necessary fluid into BJ.
Good luck with your kid!
