Subject: Final update on Yoyo

Sad to say we did not have a very happy Thanksgiving at our
house. When we returned home from our family gathering our
little buddy Yoyo had given up and passed on.

Tuesday, the vet had looked him over and told me to use a
medicine syringe to try to get Yoyo to eat. I was giving him
chicken baby food and bananas and Pedialyte. The first day he
seemed to take this all pretty well but was still very weak.
Throughout the night I continued to give him drinks of water and
pedialyte. By the next morning I had to force his mouth open to
try to feed him and get him to drink. He was passing urine but
very little stool. By Thursday morning I could tell it was only a
matter of time. He was shivering and would not take in any food
or liquids. In the afternoon, my son and I noticed that his
breathing was very raspy sounding. All I could do at this point
was wrap him in his towel and keep him as warm as possible.
When we returned 3 hours later he was gone.

I know that I can't help Yoyo now but if anyone has any ideas
about what may have happened please let me know. I have two
other little fuzzies that I want to make sure stay as healthy as
possible !.! Also, if there was something more I could have tried
this would also help for future reference. I know the day will
come when my oldest, Peanut (5 1/2), will need special attention
and I just want to be prepared.

Thanks to you all.
