You may want to ask your vet about trying Reglan (generic name
metoclopramide). I've used it on two fuzzies, one of which had a
tremendously enlarged stomach that didn't seem to move food through
properly. We think it helped him. It promotes upper GI motility...
wonder if it may help in this case. The other ferret of mine that was on
this was nauseous for no reason we could tell, and it helped with that -
it can help in cases where an animal is "centrally" nauseous (in the
brain).
