Subject: Itchy Cedes
I asked a few days ago what I could use on Cedes'
poor naked, itchy body. I finally tried Vitamin E
lotion which he didn't like. I think it may have
burned his raw skin a little bit. I then used
Vitamin E oil which he also hated. It's also
extremely messy.
Then, I remembered that I had some Bag Balm in the
cabinet and tried that. I think that's the
trick. He is OK with me rubbing it on him,
doesn't seem to lick incessantly, and it stays on
a long time. I checked with one of my wildlife
lists to make sure it was safe to ingest (lick)
and they all agreed it would not hurt him. I have
only used it on little boo-boos on wee babies who
wouldn't lick it. Glad I remembered it!
