Hi Barb,
I am not a vet, just a human that has suffered from asthma and
allergies for many years, and I have a cat with asthma.
Allergies are just one trigger for asthma, and so is activity. Each
individual with asthma has their own set of triggers, and the list of
things can serve as triggers is very long.
Also, allergies can change over time. An individual that is exposed
to something, may develope and allergy to it after a long enough
exposure.
Whether or not allergies or asthma are what is causing the problem is
something your vet can best determine. I would discuss this more
with him.
I hope everything turns out OK.
