Yes, rear leg weakness can be from an insulinoma!
The next step is to check her fasting blood glucose level.
If it is low <70mg/dL (US units) or <3.85mmol/L (SI units),
then it is time to treat her for insulinoma. If her blood glucose
is normal then it is time to proceed with more diagnostic tests
to determine the reason for the hind leg weakness.
With insulinoma you do not normally get hair loss or difficulties
urinating. Those are signs of adrenal gland disease.
