Subject: I would like some opinions please...
Two vets who have seen Newton have said they don't know what
it is.
I'd like to post a summary of what was found in case someone
recognizes something and can point me toward a treatment for
her. As it stands, she too sleeps nearly 23 1/2 hours a day
and seems to be weaker each day.
Lymph nodes are huge, all over.
Left adrenal slightly large
blood glucose was 3.6 once, and normal later
anemic
Weight loss
really big spleen
masses in spleen and liver
poor hind end control
poor balance
She eats and drinks well and I supplement with a/d
Is this descriptive of lymphoma? Insulinoma? Both? Something
else?
The vet said she would need either a biopsy or more aspirates
to know what it is but she said that it really looked like
cancer to her.
The pred doesn't seem to be doing much for her energy level
like it did at first.
Please let me know if the diseases I mentioned are plausible
explanations or whether it would make sense to put her through
more tests.
