Was it a bilateral surgery or was one adrenal atrophied? If so vet can test electrolyte ratios, to see if need to give Florinef and Prednisone, or Percorten and Prednisone. Lack of adrenal hormones is a common cause of crashing after adrenal surgery, and can be fatal but is easily corrected.
