PeptoBismol given 10 minutes before eating is not as good as
Carafate, but will do in a pinch. I am always hesitant to prescribe
Pepcid AC, but in an urgent situation like this, where we are between
a ricl and a hard place, 1/8th of a tablet twice a day is
acceptable. It may worsen his digestive ability at this point, but
if he won't eat due to the pain, that's a more serious problem.

Let's also switch to baby food rather than kibble. Find a vet that
will allow you to pay on time, because this is something that really
should be addressed as soon as possible.

With kindest regards,
