Offhand, I would say that Fozzie was happier when he was not sharing his
household...If it were me, I would try caging the two ferrets separately and
have no interactions between the two ferrets. I would also have them spend
more time with Fozzie.

In my opinon, separating the two ferrets and giving Fozzie more quality time
should rouse him from his depression. I hope so anyway.
