Subject: raw eggs
I have never fed raw eggs but have fed hard boiled eggs. I used to have a
ferret named Footsie who loved eggs and chicken. Every now and then I would
boil an egg and keep it in the fridge, giving it to her as a treat over a
few days. The same goes for chicken. I was always concerned about these
foods becoming substitutes for her own food so they were fed as treats. I
never had a problem and still do not with giving my ferrets anything they
would like to eat as long as it is in proportion to their size.
