That second one looks like it might have the pear-shape, too, though that may be from the trap.
Over the years I certainly have been told of ferrets with adrenal disease who were whole, but all of those were around 6 years old or older. In the wild polecats are unlikely to reach even 4 or 5.
It sure wuold be very interestngto know the causes wth these ferrets; could be useful info, possibly.
