Katherine-

I was really asking the same thing about adding fluids to a
ferret that had edema. Glad to see I am not the only one.
Tonight he is not going to get any and I will see what
happens. He is drinking at least 10cc 4 times a day out of a
syringe. He doesn't look well. Can't sit up straight, always
goes to one side, has his head up in the air to far, red
swollen feet, no use of his legs really. He does have some
strength in his front legs, so we work on using them. I push
on the back ones and massage them a bit every time he eats.
Might be a long week.

For those of you with @home, today my provider hooked me up
with another cable service. Easy to do, works like a charm.
I hope it all goes as smoothly for the rest of you.
