control

Newton's in bad shape, but she isn't so bad that she doesn't
care, or isn't able to correct her paw. She still goes for
walks around the livingroom, but she tires fast. If I put a
front paw topside down she fixes it but she doesn't notice it
when I do the back. This indicates a "lesion" of the spinal
cord above the hip if I'm remembering physiology correctly
(she does have a toe-pinch reflex)... If it were all four feet
the lesion would probably be in the cerebellum. Her hind legs
are not wet noodles, she sticks them out rigidly but tips over
frequently.

There's probably not much we can do, although I am planning to
take her in for acupuncture when I get a free moment. It'll be
interesting to see how that goes. The vitamin B I've been
giving her seems to be giving her more energy... she's awake
more and wants to explore more since I started it. Her lymph
nodes are still getting bigger though :( I guess the pred
isn't cutting it.

As for cardiomyopathy, that was one of the original thoughts
by my exotics vet but an ultrasound showed that her heart was
normal. I figure that her tipping over has to do with lymphoma
in some way
