Well, if just intestinal it's not flu. The do get influenza, and they
do get some intestinal viruses. We've had one here that a
Thanksgiving guest brought. First Glueball got it, then I did, then
Steve did, and now Ashling has it: two ferrets and two humans
so far. We did use precautions. Advise that you also take extra
care with washing, handling, kissing, breathing on them, etc.
because most times that does help avoid cross-infection. The
one here just turns out to be easily contagious.
