Subject: Re: Peyton's vulva

Would it make sense to do a needle aspirate and have the fluid
examined and perhaps analyzed? The photo looks like cyst and
cysts do reoccur, but then again, it might not be a cyst .

Do ferrets get Bartholin (sp?, name?) Gland infections? Aren't
those the perivaginal glands that are located near the opening?

For those who do not know: the Christmas Rescues occurred
when everyone who knew him (I didn't. ) had the surprise after a
man's sudden death of finding that he, a regular show person,
had a backyard breeding operation with no licences beyond a
hobby permit that showed only a few ferrets, no knowledge of
anyone in community that this was going on, females who
showed signs of recently having nursed kits but no kits and no
records, a possible polecat male among the huge number of
ferrets, feces and urine covered animals and cages, likely
inbreeding, many young ferrets with a range of tumor-types and
multiple other untreated medical conditions, etc. It was a horror
scene partly of the sort found with animal collectors.
