Subject: Re: Ear Mites
As long as we are discussing ear mites. I have a question.
We have a chronic problem with them here. About the time I
think we are clear, another rescue brings them in and the
                  treatments start over.
I realize that taking in rescues, I will always have that
risk.. and up until now only treated if I knew they had ear
                  mites. So two questions.
                  1. Should I just automatically start treating every rescue for
ear mites the second they hit the door?
                  2. Is there anything I can do to or for existing ferrets so
they are not as likely to pick them up when one comes in with
                  them?
                  Susan
